III, Samsung S10+ full charging test

Samsung Original Charger Charging Chart

Using the original charger of Samsung S10+ to charge Samsung S10+ throughout the whole process, as can be seen from the chart above, S10+ shook hands with AFC fast charging immediately after entering charging, and the power rushed up to 14.87W, which is also the highest power of this full charge; then the power dropped and maintained a stable state, with the power around 14.5W; after 38 minutes of charging, the power dropped again and again After 38 minutes of charging, the power drops again and gradually rises to 14.31W; after 1 hour and 1 minute of charging, it enters the constant voltage charging stage until the power drops to 0.09W in 1 hour and 59 minutes, and the charging is completed. The power plateau of the whole charging test is around 14.5W.

Apple 61W charger Charging Chart

Using the Apple 61W PD charger to charge the Samsung S10+ throughout, the overall power curve is about the same as when charging the Samsung S10+ with the original Samsung charger, as seen in the chart above. The highest power of the whole test was 14.87W, which entered the constant voltage charging stage at 59 minutes of charging, and the power gradually dropped to 0.06W, taking 1 hour and 58 minutes for the whole test. The power plateau of the whole charging test is around 14.5W.

Charging Samsung S10+ with LeSports 24W QC charger throughout. The highest power for the whole process was 14.95W, and entered the constant voltage charging stage after 58 minutes of charging, with the power gradually decreasing as the current decreases, and the power fell to 0.07W in 1 hour and 57 minutes, and charging was completed. The power plateau of the whole charging test is around 14.5W.

Finally, let’s take a look at the change in the power level of the S10+ throughout charging. As you can see from the chart above, the three different fast charging chargers are charging the Samsung S10+ and it is growing at about the same rate.
Half an hour: Samsung S10+ original charger charges 38%, Apple 61W PD charger charges 39%, and LeTV 24W QC charger charges 40%.
One hour: Samsung S10+ original charger charges in 75%, Apple 61W PD charger charges in 77%, and LeTV 24W QC charger charges in 78%.
Full-time consumption: Samsung S10+ original charger 1 hour and 59 minutes, Apple 61W PD charger 1 hour and 58 minutes, LeTV 24W QC charger 1 hour and 57 minutes.

IV. Summary

As a flagship product, Samsung S10+ is top-level in design, workmanship and materials. With Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, playing games and watching 4K movies are not a problem. The new generation of super sensory full view screen is equipped, the display effect is transparent and delicate. The only shortcoming is that the upper right corner of the display has dug a notch, in the eyes of some people may not accept this design, but this is also in order to make a full-screen and not give up the front camera compromised choice, carrot and cabbage each have their own love.

In terms of charging performance, the Samsung S10+ uses a USB-C interface that supports PD, QC, and AFC fast charging protocols, which is widely compatible and very selective when picking charging accessories, which is very convenient. After a full charging test, it was found that the Samsung S10+ was charging with either a PD charger or a QC or AFC charger, and its maximum power was around 15W, and it took nearly two hours to charge the whole thing.
